SHYGUY's cover of the Blackbyrds' totally classic tune ‘Walking in Rhythm’ is a great piece of pop dance brought to you by the same team that produced Tony Di Bart's No.1 Hit ‘The Real Thing?’ (and it shows!), and it features the unmistakable vocal talent of a certain Limahl - who has reached the No 1 spot himself on a couple of previous occasions! ‘Walking in Rhythm’ has already proved itself to be something of a summer favourite with holiday makers, so there's a very good chance that you'll be getting requests for it as they start coming back to the UK - and as it's such a well done cover you'll have no trouble in playing it ‘WALKING IN RHYTHM’ comes in two mixes - one on each side! The ‘A’ side has the 130bpm ‘EURO MIX’, a very effective euro/house treatment which works really well, and somehow has a touch of the ‘Born to Be Alive’ about it, even though it sounds nothing like it! The quality of the song and the production shine through and we're sure you'll be playing the tune for months. The ‘B’ side features the 126bpm ‘CLUB/GARAGE MIX’ which kicks in with an ‘OK, we're in record!’ vocal line before the percussion, strings and bass come in to create a neat almost old skool groove (with the kind of touches that Mousse T has been using lately) over which the vocals and organ lines float. It's clever stuff and at least equally as effective as the "Euro Mix" - so you've got two great mixes to work with!
